eBay account is closing/closed.

Have no fear, this website will continue to sell the Tarn Model range of figures and accessories, it’s just the eBay account being closed down.

It’s a pity, but the eradication of the TarnModelFoundry ID would seem to be the only way I can stop the billing of the account for the basic seller’s fee.

Marshal Posts just added to the shop.

I’ve knocked up some Marshal Posts in plaster, and added the available stock to the shop.

There are two styles, one a ‘tyre wall’ version, and the other a plain concrete wall. Both bases have the following features…

  • Cast in ‘Model Plaster’ - harder than normal plaster, but can shatter.
  • One piece casting
  • Edges roll down, but can be cut to butt edge if required
  • Area behind wall/barrier is modelled as gravel surface
  • Gravel area is big enough to stand F302 Scalextric TV Tower

You can either buy the posts as a plain casting, and paint it yourself, or buy as prepainted. Tyre Wall versions have alternating colours, and are currently supplied as Red/White, Blue/White or Black/White.

Different colours can be supplied - please email with your requirements for a quote.



Below is an example of how by using matching scatter grass, the base can blend in with the same grass paper on a baseboard. In the picture I have used the Javis ‘Spring Grass’ scatter and grass mat. The F302 TV Tower sits on the gravel area.

Prices for the bases are £4.99 for unpainted, and £9.99 for the painted versions.

These two new bases, along with any other new trackside items will not count towards my target for new releases…
