Tarn Model Foundry

OK, a double announcement.

1. Tarn Model Foundry will now be releasing all new releases in Resin only. Figures from the existing range will continue to be sold as metal figures until the existing moulds fail and the cast stock runs out. As this happens, the figures will be re-released as resin versions. Prices for the new resin figures haven’t been yet set, but should be less that the current metal figures prices.

2. The first two figures have been test moulded and cast, and these are the results below. I now need to create some “productions moulds” using the lessons learned in my first attempt.

The broom is the prototype, as the metal one I was going to use will simply pull the figure over. So this will be cast in resin as well.

I’ve also started to include more details. Here the walkie talkie on the marshals belt is shown, and the notes on the clip board of the police officer are also seen. Both figures can have different heads to suit different purposes.
