A weekend of updates…

This weekend I’ll be updating the WordPress software that this site uses – I’m hoping for a painless change, but just in case you check in and find the thing not working – don’t worry, it’s just the update going badly, not the company going down the pan!

Figure news – what’s left for 2008…

  • The photographer figure (TMF715) will be on sale from Sunday onwards.
  • The “professional” version of the above figure (media bib and spare camera – TMF725) will be out just before xmas as well.
  • I may have to remould the 3rd Rally Start Gate Marshal (TMF712) – the first half of the current mould may be unusable, but I won’t know for sure until I’ve done a test cast.
  • The Firefighter figure (TMF900) is also due for first release for Sunday. More details and pictures of this figure when the first one is out of the mould.

2009 – Some of what is planned early on.

Some of you may have noticed that there is a hole in the stock numbers from 715 to 718. These are four figures that were roughly mocked up a year ago as a group of spectators for a rally theme. 715 has evolved into the amatuer photographer, and the other three, 716, 717 and 718 are to follow shortly. All three figures will be holding cameras, and you’ll be able to group them together tightly in a “joustling for position” group, part of the original idea for the four.

TMF723 and TMF724 will be mastered this month (December) and be out for Swindon. Both are “man and boy”, with 723 being “son on shoulders” and 724 being “son in front”. Both figures will be one piece resin castings with a separate metal base.

I’ll do more posting as soon as I get the update out of the way.

Regards,

Lawrence.
