I am often asked what paints I use, so here is a short summary of paint usage…

Undercoat – Rarely do I undercoat the Resin figures – if I do an undercoat it is white,  as the covering colour will be one of the hi-viz colours.

Clothing -  I’m now using the Vallejo range of paints – the range includes a good range of base colours as well as metallics and recently introduced, a number of “washes” that makes the figures just ‘come alive’.

Bases – I still use a Humbrol or Revelll Enamel paint for bases – they are a dense paint, and resit chipping as much as the Vallejo range.
